It is not so rare anymore that Joonas gets an invitation for a birthday party. This time Eden was the lucky one. She got 5 years old.
Seal kohtasime prantusmaalt mõneks ajaks Kapplinna kolinud perekonda. Seega, üks 4 aastane poiss Peyo õpetas Joonasele raketi joonistamist ja 1-5ni loendamist prantsuse keeles. Joonas jällegi näitas kuidas joonistada vaalaskala kirjutada oma nime.
Sometimes we cook at home, other times we eat out. African Cafe is a cozy and child-friendly place (not in the sense that they are allowed to run around or talk loudly, but its interior and environment awakes the child in everyone, even in adults). We met Peyo there, a 4 year old French boy who has moved to Cape Town for a while with his parents. He taught Joonas how to draw a roquette and Joonas gave him some hints to draw a whale.
PS. Need tähekesed otsaees antakse koolis nendele lastele, kes on olnud tublid. Täna sai Joonas lausa kaks tähte: koristamise ja võimlemise eest.
Last weeks, we get some small rain almost daily (that's how this early spring behaves here :p). For that reason, Joonas drawings contain some puddles and a lonely earthworm.
BTW. These stars on his brow are given in school for good children. He got two of them today. Congratulations!
That is the child's work: to eat, to play and to sleep. Just to become a taller, happier and wiser child. As much as we enjoy the time when he is awake, we do enjoy these silent and peaceful evening hours when he sleeps :)
